Two out of every 3 Nigerians - 133 million people lack access to safe drinking water. This is despite investments in water resources by the Federal and States Ministry of Water Resources. TASTE continues to work with all our partners including the Plateau State to tackle this significant challenge. We are thankful to our God for the able and committed team of staff and volunteers with whom He has blessed TASTE. Their dedication is second to none and we want to continue to equip them so that they continue to provide outstanding godly service to the communities we serve. We held a 5-day training last month to equip them to become more effective trainers on Water Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) and community self-help groups. The training was held at CRUDAN Guest House, Bukuru, Jos. The sessions were aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of effective teaching methods to better equip and empower our trainees to deliver community training that would have lasting impact long after we have gone.
