Thursday Club
Thursday Club meets at 6pm on Thursdays during term time and all aged between 4 and 11 years from our community are welcome to attend.
The Aims of the Club
At Thursday Club children from 4 to 11yrs have great fun each week learning about the Bible and the great truths of the Christian Gospel. We play organised games and activities (the most popular at present being ‘Giant Dodge Ball’) during which the importance of teamwork, kindness and fair play are always emphasised.
The latter part of our time together is spent singing choruses, learning a memory verse from the Bible and listening to Bible stories. It is such a joy to see so many smiling faces each week playing in a safe and happy environment and growing in their understanding of God’s great love for us in Christ. We have a great team of committed Christian workers, all members of Trinity Grace Church, who help run the Club. All the helpers are CRB checked and share the same care and prayerful concern for all the children who attend.
In a world where children are often neglected and abused, it is a great privilege to be able to demonstrate Christian hospitality in such a practical way. It is our great hope and prayer that we might be an influence for good and a channel through which young children find their own faith in Christ Jesus and learn to trust Him as Lord and Saviour.
