The Association of Confessional Baptist Churches in the United Kingdom began the new year by meeting in the historic building of its newest member, Trinity Baptist Church, in the village of Charlesworth in the North Peaks, near Greater Manchester. By now the life of the Association has adopted a familiar rhythm, which was repeated at this latest meeting. The meeting opened with the singing of a Psalm and the moderator’s prayer. Pastor Eddie Roberts of Stanley Park Church, Liverpool, gave a vigorous and spirited defence of the Scripture’s doctrine of creation, as found in our Confession. Pastor Robert’s message was as humorous as it was true, looking at the Trinity in creation, the totality of the creation, and the time of creation.
