Reformation in Hungary- Our Reformed Baptist partners in Budapest

One of our members here in Ramsbottom, Robert Kiss, was born and grew up in Budapest, Hungary. It was a great joy for him to discover the ministry of Miki Chiciudeanin in his home city and God has blessed Robert through this connection. Miki visited us in the summer of 2019 and our fellowship with him grew and developed. There is a great need for the gospel in Hungary as it has faced years of oppression. Pray for Miki and all who serve in the church.

The latest news, February 2025

Our friends in Budapest write: The last three months have been eventful, sometimes difficult, although we can see the Lord’s hand through it all. One of the long-standing need for our members is for their physical well-being. During the past year, a few have suffered bodily ailments of one kind or another. Remember Mrs. Kinga Chiciudean who is still recovering from the effects of radiotherapy from mid last year. Thankfully, she is out of danger. Máté Tóth, one of the brothers pioneering the other Reformed Baptist Church, and who also at times steps in to help with our ministries is currently going through his third round of chemotherapy. In December, one of our members had a severe car accident. Thankfully, he too is out of danger, although still visibly weak. Some have had a few other mild health issues. Please pray that the church members would be kept healthy and not hindered from performing their daily duties smoothly.
