Dr James Renihan writes: Courtney Dolezal reports that her husband is doing well. He was discharged from the rehabilitation hospital on August 11, and since being home has continued to make progress in his recovery. She writes: "James has been home for a couple of weeks now and is recovering more each day. He is still receiving outpatient therapy (PT, OT, and Speech) at the rehab hospital twice a week. Therapy, combined with regular visitors at our home, has stretched his body and mind in very positive ways. James can walk indoors independently. He can walk outside and up the stairs with someone to assist. He is reading a little and able to follow a train of thought in print and in conversation. He has been to church the past two Sundays. We are glad to have him home and very thankful for the continued support as we step into this next phase of recovery." Please give thanks for the Lord's mercies to the Dolezal family and continue to pray for further recovery.
