Since we got a new venue for our fellowship, we have painted the main room, we have started to meet on Sundays at our new venue, and we have started a prayer meeting and a Sunday school. Roxanne is teaching the little ones, and Matt and I just finished the book of Colossians. We are very excited to start membership classes in May and hopefully constitute a Reformed Baptist Church in June. We will start an English-speaking church with the aim also to start a Thai service next year and also a Thai church. We were generously supplied with Chapel Library booklets and hope to get many of these translated, with other books, into Thai in the coming years. We long for the church in Thailand to be supplied with sound theology and biblical resources. We are glad that three married couples have joined us regularly, and we pray that more would join our fellowship.

Please pray for those in Myanmar and Thailand that have been devastated by the recent 7.7 magnitude earthquake.  Although we definitely felt the strong quake, we have not heard of any damage in our city as of yet.  Pray that if there is a way to help, that the Lord will reveal this to us and that we will be prepared to help as we are able. Please join us as we pray for our part of the world as the recovery begins.

In April I’m going to India to do three workshops with two groups.

  • Please pray that the teaching at these workshops would be received with joy and that God would raise up pastors in Thailand, Myanmar and India to preach the gospel with conviction and clarity and live the gospel with purity.
  • Also pray for my trip to India, for grace and protection. Thank God that I already received my visa.
  • Pray that God would grant us wisdom in the future to know what groups to take on and which to leave.
