One of our members here in Ramsbottom, Robert Kiss, was born and grew up in Budapest, Hungary. It was a great joy for him to discover the ministry of Miki Chiciudeanin in his home city and God has blessed Robert through this connection. Miki visited us in the summer of 2019 and our fellowship with him grew and developed. There is a great need for the gospel in Hungary as it has faced years of oppression, pray for Miki and that other men would serve.

The mission in Bergen has started in the summer of 2010 and operates in connection with The Harbourlight in Holland, which is part of the worldwide organization the Seaman’s Christian Friend Society (SCFS).

There is also a co-operation with the Alaska Christian Ministry to Seafarers, as well as with Global Recording Network.

In Bergen we also co-operating with the local Inner Seaman’s Mission (DISM). All are non-profit organizations. We are a non-denominational faith mission, which means that we do not do active fundraising, but trusting God to provide the needed resources in answer to prayer via the freewill gifts of God’s people. Our primary work is with cruise ship personnel. Our principal objective is to share the love of Jesus Christ in practical ways, as well as by introducing non-believers to the gospel, and by teaching and encouraging those who already believe.
