Hoping to reopen our very popular Mums and Tots morning soon

After over 16 years of happy service to our community through the Mums and Tots group it really was the hardest decision for us to temporarily close this very popular and successful work in December 2015. In fact, if it hadn’t been for the faithful service of a number of our elderly members we would have had to close much earlier. It has been a great joy for us as a church to facilitate this service to our community, and over the years we have made many friends and trust that all who’ve attended this group have enjoyed being with us.

We are working hard to put together a new team that can take the reins of this well-grounded and well received work to take it forward. With life being so busy for so many of us finding the right people is presenting us with some challenges, but we are determined to keep this as a priority in the life of our church and are genuinely hoping we can reopen in the near future.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you most sincerely for your support of the Trinity Grace Church Mums &Tots group – it has been a real joy getting to know you and your little ones. We want to express heartfelt gratitude for your support, especially to those who have attended for many years.

On behalf of the eldership, and all at Mums&Tots.

Mother and Toddlers

Manic Mum? Fractious Dad? Careworn carer?

Come and join us on a Thursday morning from 10:00am to 11:30am during term time. There is plenty to keep the children occupied and happy. We have a variety of large and small toys for all the children (and adults?) to enjoy. Whether it be zooming in the police car, caring for dolls, or exploring the tunnel, there is much to keep the young ones interested. Added to this they will also be stimulated by the various stories that are told week by week, including some from the Bible. They can also indulge in their creative side, engaging in the different weekly crafts, as well as using their vocal chords for pleasant sounds (we hope) during “song time”. Even their thirst will be quenched & hunger pangs abated with a drink of squash and a biscuit (or two, or three?)

While the children have a good time, there is opportunity for the adults to have a chat over a cup of tea and a biscuit, and get to know one another. As with all our activities, there is no charge. The Mums and Toddlers group is a part of our service to the community for the sake of Christ Jesus; and since He has done so much for us at great cost to Himself, but no charge to us, we want to share what we have with our neighbours.

All our helpers are members of the church and CRB checked.

Why not join us – you would be very, very welcome!
